Salute! This month commemorates 150 years of Harper’s BAZAAR Magazine, beginning in the year 1867 the magazine was described as "A repository of fashion, pleasure, and instruction"; over a century later this message remains true. It has become a world-renowned arbiter of fashion and features some of the most groundbreaking editorials. Month after month, Harper’s BAZAAR showcases the world’s most visionary stylists and talented designers, to deliver readers a visually stunning portrayal of the world of fashion and beauty. Over the years, Ben-Amun has graced the pages of many Harper’s BAZAAR issues, so to help celebrate this milestone anniversary we want to share our top 4 favorite picks of editorials featuring Ben-Amun!
This first editorial was featured on the cover of Harper’s BAZAAR's January 2010 issue, set in the springtime on a beautiful New York City street is no other than fashion darling Kate Hudson! She’s seen here wearing our signature white shoulder duster earrings that playfully accent her white fringed couture dress. This dreamy New York City scene was the vision of iconic fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh.
Rosie Huntington Whiteley is considered one of the most stunning and successful models in the industry, and in this spread we can’t argue with that title. She is featured in the December 2011 issue sporting statement Ben-Amun earrings. Photographer Greg Kadel uses light blue backdrops to compliment the bursts of bright oranges and chic geometric patterns that embrace her beauty, and allow our earring to compliment it.
In May of 2015 one of Ben-Amun’s necklace was featured in ‘The Extras’ Fiber Optics page. These rock chic accessories beautifully complement our unique tribal piece. Its geometric nature will bring a beautiful balance any outfit from fun and causal to sophisticated and dressy.
Last but certainly not least is Harper’s BAZAAR November 2016 spread which features our geometric circle drop pendant necklace from the Natura collection. This collection beautifully mixes the raw essence of nature with a touch of minimalism which is why it coordinates so nicely with the Pretty in Pink theme. The touches of shimmering silver accent any color, however beautifully stands out within the pops of bubblegum pink.
Happy 150 years Harper’s BAZAAR!
